REVIEW of GIVE UP THE GHOST by Author Kelly Moran

Author's Description

A paranormal category romance from Entangled's Covet imprint...

Sometimes the only way to find love is to face death...
Paranormal investigator Kerry Baker has seen it all. But nothing in her work with the Phantoms team prepares her for the most terrifying ghost of all-seeing her doppelganger. Rumored to be a foreshadowing of one's death, the spectre shakes Kerry to the core...sending her into the arms of her best friend and fellow Phantom cast member, Paul Leake, for comfort.
Until a kiss changes everything.
Paul has been in love with Kerry for ages, unwilling to compromise their friendship. As their investigation in a ghost town grows more intense, however, so does the chemistry between Paul and Kerry. With her life in danger and their jobs on the line, giving into their attraction couldn't be a worse idea and yet they can't bring themselves to stop it. Even if it kills her...

MY REVIEW

I was given a copy of this by the Publishers via NetGalley in return for an honest review

5 STARS (more if possible)
Wow, freaking wow, I absolutely loved this from the first page right the way through to the end..

As the title would give a clue, this is about Phantoms and their team of investigators, they investigate ghosts and paranormal activities.  The main characters are Kerry Baker and Paul Leake, they are best friends and as part of the Phantom Team, have worked close together for 6 years.

The team consisted of Kerry, Paul, Sammy, Lee, Terrance, Amir, Tom and Earl.  They are like a family unit, all friendly and enjoyed their work.  At a meeting at the main headquarters of Phantoms, their boss Elise informed them they had a new team member his name Cain McClutchen, and he would be joining them on their new assignment.  The assignment is a deserted town ( a ghost town).

Kerry has suffered bad with migraines, and Paul is her hero, he helps her cope when her headaches appear, but can Paul help her when her Doppelganger appears?

To be truthful this story had me by the seat of my pants from the start, I was  awake till 4am reading as I could not put the story down. Page after page I kept turning, wanting more and more.  There are plenty shocks and surprises in store, the descriptive elements in the book were perfect, you could feel the hair on the back of your neck stand up at times.  I was sad, happy, fearful, all of these and more!!!

The Author has done such a terrific job with this book and I for one will be patiently waiting on the next book to arrive on the shelves
