Review of The Calm After the Storm by Mya O'Malley

The Calm After The Storm by Mya O’Malley is a very well written romance novel that comes across as very true to life story.  The Author did a wonderful job bringing the characters and plot to life and makes you want to let love in.

The North East area close to New York has suffered from a hurricane that wiped out most of the power for the area where Emma lives. It is so bad that the people around this area go weeks without power. The electric companies in the area do not have enough workers to get the power back on for this large area. 

Jake is a small town guy, who has had bad luck with women. He has a little girl and all he wants is to have her with him permanently. When, the job opportunity to go up North to work and make good money comes up he goes even though he doesn't want to leave his little girl. 

After a chance encounter that leaves Emma and Jake wanting more, but both are afraid. Will love find them despite the storms that want to tear them apart? 

You will just have to find out for yourself and trust me you will want to!!
