I received a copy from the Publishers via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
A really short story, a novella I would describe it as, and from never having read the Author's other work, I imagine this is an introduction to a bigger book, maybe a series. My rating is based on what I felt about this story and reading it as a standalone.
I really thought the book jumped around a lot, left me feeling lost, the story was in the first person, Frankie, but it seems to be that Kit is the one future stories are going to be mostly about.
Frankie has a supernatural, dark side, but also a kind, she loves misery and suffering, but she likes healing and to make things better for people.
It was a decent enough story if you could follow it (perhaps missing prior books was my problem).
