MY REVIEW - The Forgiveness Project: Stories for a Vengeful Age by Marina Cantacuzino

I was provided an arc copy of this book by the publishers via NetGalley.

This is truly a book that is inspiring, how do you deal with being a victim of a horrible crime?  What if you are the perpetrator of the crime?  Can you forgive?

This book looks at several stories of such crimes, it makes you think how you could deal with it had it happened to you.  Many emotions run through your veins whilst reading this, perhaps everyone would learn some empathy if they read this, how we deal with situations, how we feel about them, this takes you on the rollercoaster of emotions.   Would we rather take revenge? or would forgiveness be the right thing ?

Written superbly, issues dealt with are not the easiest to read, but the author has written in such a way that you cannot help feel humbled.

Perhaps we need to read this kind of story in order to learn how it is possible to recover from the horrors life sometimes throws at us or a family member.  Touching stories, which move you immensely.
