Review: White Lie

White Lie White Lie by Peggy Dabney
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vincent is part of a crime family, in fact, he is the underboss, and his cousin Leo is the boss. They love their crime family, and the thrill they get from doing what they have to do to keep the family safe.

The story starts with Vincent shooting his school friend Donnie, his lifelong friend who has disgraced the family with his lies and betrayal. You get the instant WOW factor at this point, you know you are getting into a brilliant story.

Tommy is an undercover cop and along with his partner Jace Jacobi they are part of a strategy to infiltrate the family and take them down. Do they succeed? (not telling).

Kree is a sexy female who is loved by Tommy (secretly) and Vincent the underboss has his sights set on her too, but there is a big problem in their way Vincent's usual sexual partner, Jewel, she is part of his crime family, they have been lovers, and Jewel is not about to be pushed out of Vincent's bed for anyone.

Kree is drawn to Vincent like a magnet their sexual chemistry is on high settings, both of them cannot get enough of each other, but they both know nothing good can come of the relationship, he is a bad person, but his heart belongs to her and hers to him.

Tommy is there waiting to pick up the pieces and they hope for the perfect fairytale romance, which it seems they are getting, however, the Author is not letting us away so lightly, she has thrown more shocks into the mix, so much so you will be sat on edge of your seat chewing the tips of your fingers, watching the nightmare unfold before your very eyes.

This is one heck of a story, I absolutely loved it. Gripped me from the first page and never let me go at any point all the way through. So many lies, so much deceit, plenty of sexual tensions. This definitely is a mind-blower!!!

I received a copy from the Author in exchange for an honest review.
