I made a conscious decision to cheat on my husband.

Now, before you judge me, hear my story. Hear how much I'm like you, how similar my thoughts are to your own. Yes, I'm a horrible person. Yes, I've done horrible things. Yes, I don't deserve forgiveness. Yes, bad things happened because of my actions.

But I'm willing to bet I've done things that maybe, just maybe, you have thought of doing.

Maybe, just maybe, you're not as innocent as you'd like to think.

Or maybe I'm not so guilty...

Misch stared up at him, simply amazed. She couldn't believe he was there, sitting next to her. Bubble officially burst. Mr. Tal Canaan was a real life man, flesh and blood, not some fantasy to be locked away in some hotel room, shoved to the back of her brain. And the fantasy-come-to-life sitting next to her happened to be dressed up, as well. Sexy didn't cover how he looked that evening.

“Tal, we can't do this,” Misch lowered her voice. “You did me a huge favor the other night, really. I appreciate it, more than I can say. But it ended in that room.”

His hand moved off of her hip and across her lap. Came to rest on her bare thigh. Her voice caught in her throat.

“Oh, no. No, I don't think so. I don't think it ended at all. I think it's still very much going on,” he breathed, sliding his hand up, moving the skirt of her dress out of the way.

“Tal, please,” she whimpered.

Whimpering. The man makes me whimper.

“Ah, there's that word I love.”

“My boss could walk up any minute,” she hissed, pressing herself back into the cushioned booth, trying to gain some distance.

“Don't worry about your boss,” Tal whispered, dipping his head and kissing her temple.

“We can't. He knows I'm married,” she whispered back, squirming as Tal's hand pushed the last bit of material out of the way. If a waiter popped up, he'd have a great view of Misch's hot pink underwear.

“I told you, don't worry.”

“Don't worry!? How can I not -,”

She gasped as his thumb slid under the crotch of her panties. While her lips were parted, he dove in, kissing her hard. She moaned, welcoming him. Fuck, she'd cook him dinner and rub his feet, if he'd just keep touching her. Just keep wanting her.

“I love that you're always so ready for me,” he pulled away to laugh at her. She gripped onto his arm.

“Oh my god, I'm gonna get fired,” she panted but made no move to stop him. His thumb was ridiculously dexterous; she wondered if he was double jointed. It swam in circles, making her dizzy.

“You won't get fired, I promise,” he had his sly smile on, and he actually rested an elbow on the back of the booth, propping his cheek against his fist. His relaxation actually made her more aware of their surroundings. She was sitting in the middle of a nice restaurant, waiting for her boss, and she had a man's thumb in her crotch.

Slut.

“Someone's going to see us. Please.”

“You know what's funny,” he ignored her. “This really wasn't my plan when I decided to come here. I thought we could have a drink, talk. I could watch you laugh. You have a great laugh. But then I sat down, and you're wearing this amazing dress, showing those amazing legs, and well, here we are.”

“I don't want to be doing this,” she begged.

“Why not?”

“Because,” she couldn't finish the sentence. Didn't want to say it out loud. Wanted to pretend that she was begging him to stop for the right reasons.

“Because why?”

I'm such an awful person.

“Because I'm ..."

“Since our night together," he whispered, "this is all I've thought about. All I've wanted to do. From this point on, you're going to be the only person I fuck while I'm here.”

“Tal, please, I'm going to … I'm about to …,” she couldn't catch her breath. She was too busy trying to stave off a huge orgasm.

“Shhhh,” he shushed her. Then his thumb was gone. He pulled his fingers free of her underwear, ran it up her body. Rested his hand against the side of her jaw. She was breathing heavily through her nose, staring up at him. He stared right back and pressed his dewy thumb against her bottom lip. Traced it back and forth.

Resistance is so fucking futile.

“What are you doing to me?” she whispered. He smiled, then stuck his thumb in his mouth, sucking her wetness away.

“Anything you want, babe. Come find me,” he whispered back.

Then he was sliding out of his seat. Walking away.

Misch dropped her head back on the booth, tried to catch her breath. She pressed a hand to her chest and gulped in air. She had thought the night was going to be boring. Shmoozing their international partners, talking about insurance, trying to tell bad jokes in broken Italian. Getting off in the middle of a crowded dining room hadn't been part of the plan.

Mr. Canaan had never been part of the plan.

Author Bio

Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

Review: Fallen Angel, Part 4 - A Mafia Romance

Fallen Angel, Part 4 - A Mafia Romance Fallen Angel, Part 4 - A Mafia Romance by Tracie Podger
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have just completed this book, and omg the author has shattered me! I have followed Robert & Brooke along with Travis and Evelyn and the other characters since I first read Part 1. This story has been absolutely awesome from the beginning, and each book just keeps me gripped from the very first page I open.

Reading Robert & Travis story (books to go with this series) enlightened you to their life and where they began their journey, then Evelyn her story had to be told too. We then read about Rocco the man who Evelyn loved and lost. These are no ordinary characters, The Author makes them so real to you. They are extraordinary people with dark and dangerous lives, you definitely cannot help but think of them any other way except your family, I loved each and every one of these main characters, and hated others with a vengeance. Talk about getting you emotional, wow this series sure does that!!

You laugh with them, you cry with them, you feel like you have been dragged inside out and put through a wringer. Tracie Podger sure knows how to turn a story into something you are hooked on, you cannot put it down, you feel like dying when you're getting to the last few pages, you cannot stand the thought of the story being finished.

I could have took a stick to the Author and smacked her a few times during this book, it got me so emotional, I was yelling at the kindle DON'T YOU DARE, imagining what was coming next. I feel emotionally drained at the end of this story, but it was amazing, one that I will never forget for sure.

My thanks to the Author for allowing me to read an advance copy of her amazing story. Now who do I send the bill to for the tissues?

Review: Seth

Seth Seth by Jo Raven
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Seth and Madeline (Manon ), Seth is a battered, bruised and damaged apprentice at Damaged Control tattoo parlor, he has a horrific past that most would not have survived, his mother was a drunken druggie who put men and drugs before her son. She caused him to end up in prison, he has never had an easy life and still nothing is going his way.

Manon is a beautiful creature who Seth has loved from a distance for a long time, she is a dancer a ballerina, who Seth believes in his heart he cannot ever have, she is too good for him in his own mindset, she would never want him (or would she). Manon is looking for love but she is looking at Fred, for some reason she thinks he is for her, but perhaps he thinks different?

One night when the rains are pouring from the heavens, and Seth takes himself out even though he can barely walk, he heads to the store for some pain killers. All of a sudden out of nowhere a car almost hits him, he falls over and struggles to get back up. The driver rushes to help him and he looks up and cannot believe his eyes it is Manon, she helps him to stand, but he is very unsteady, feeling shitty she takes him home to get him dried and warm. Can this be the start of something fantastic? Can Seth get the girl of his dreams?

Jo Raven delivers these stories with so much depth each character you get to know fills your heart with emotion, Seth tore at my heart strings, made me want to hug him and tell him things will get better. Jo sure makes you feel part of the story, you get so emotionally involved in each character, you feel their pain, you enjoy their laughter, you cry with their sorrow, and blush at the hot sex that is definitely a strong part of Jo's stories. OMG this is one of these stories that grabs you by the windpipe and presses so hard you cannot breathe at times. Enjoy the highs, feel the lows, you really get every nerve pulled one way then the next - you have to love the author's style of writing. I have read the other damage control books and I can honestly say that each of them are fantastic.

An assignment has just turned interesting for GFI investigator Malachi Whitetail. When a shy, mousy woman walks into his local diner, it takes him a minute to recognize her as an employee of the real estate office he’s been monitoring. Not a believer in coincidence, Mal decides a closer look at the short brunette might be warranted. It will be the first, but certainly not the last time, he finds himself coming to her rescue.

Kimeo Lowe leads a pretty quiet existence, which is why, when she ends up a witness to a crime, her curiosity into her boss’s suspected shady dealings gets kicked into high gear. She may not be the most sociable of people, but she’s always been independent and industrious, so when an opportunity to dig a little deeper arises, she doesn’t think twice. It would seem that this time she’s bitten off a bit more than she can chew, and when a freakishly tall Native American Adonis intervenes not just once, she decides sleuthing may be best left to professionals. But it’s a bit too late.

Just when life has settled into a comfortable routine, Kim finds herself dealing with not just one, but two threats on her life. With every turn there are new challenges to face, and Mal is not about to let her face them alone. Not even when he turns out to be no match for her most dangerous enemy.

About The Author

Freya Barker craved reading about 'real' people, those who are perhaps less than perfect, but just as deserving of romance, hot monkey sex and some thrills and chills in their lives – So she decided to write about them.

Always creative, from an early age on she danced and sang, doodled, created, cooked, baked, quilted and crafted. Her latest creative outlets were influenced by an ever-present love for reading. First through blogging, then cover art and design, and finally writing.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, she packed her two toddlers, and eight suitcases filled with toys to move to Canada. No stranger to new beginnings, she thrives on them.

With the kids grown and out in the world, Freya is at the ‘prime’ of her life. The body might be a bit ramshackle, but the spirit is high and as adventurous as ever. Something you may see reflected here and there in some of her heroines.... none of who will likely be wilting flowers.

Title: Carnal Desire

Series: Onyx Club #3

Author: Sebastian Ex

Genre: Erotic Romance

Cover Design: Book Cover By Design

 Release Date: November 23, 2015

Blurb

My name is Nathan Stone, and I’m part owner of a BDSM club called The Onyx Room – and I’m not like any other man you’ve ever met.

I own the club with my two best friends, Matthew and Brandon. I’m the dungeon Master who runs The Onyx Room. Matthew and Brandon support me.

I’m also in love with my girl. Bianca and I have been together since the night she got in my car to sell me her body. She thought I’d take her for an hour to sate my carnal desire, but what she didn’t know was that I’d seen her before and purposely bought her to save her from herself.

Bianca needed more than a Dominant. She needed a Master. My name is Master Nathan Stone, and welcome to my world.

*Possible triggers, coarse language, graphic sex and adult themes.

Excerpt

Bianca requires aftercare as much as she needs the sting of the pain. I clean her wounds, and apply a liberal amount of Neosporin ointment and let the wounds breathe. I then cover her up with the thin blanket and sit on the bed beside her. “Slave.” Her eyes flicker open. “Here you go.” I unscrew the water bottle and hold it to her lips. She automatically reaches out so she can take the bottle, but I lightly smack her hand away. “I’ll take care of you.” Bianca smiles, then puts her lips to the bottle as I tip it so she can drink.

“Thank you, Master,” she dreamily says before placing her head on the pillow and falling into sleep.

Walking away from the bed and to the opposite side of the playroom, I take my phone out of my pocket and call Matthew.

“Hey,” he says when he answers.

“Hey, I’m supposed to do an inventory check today but Bianca is starting to fall. We’ve just had a mini scene, but she’s out of it. Can you go in and start it, and I’ll be there in a few hours. I need to make sure she’s okay.”

“She alright?”

“Not great, but I’m hoping this time I can get to her before her mind fucks her over.”

“Dude, whatever you need.”

“Thanks, can you go in and start inventory?”

“Yeah, I’m taking Ella to see Debra her OBGYN, check the baby and make sure everything’s alright, then we can head in and start on it.”

“Thanks, we’ll be there before the club opens, but I just can’t get there for a couple of hours.”

“Yeah, man, don’t worry yourself. I’ve got it covered, look after your girl.”
