I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

This was a story that had you sad, smiling, crying.  OMG rollercoaster of emotions, get the tissues ready.

Lorrie's mother was murdered, then her father died, you can tell right off things are not going to be great for poor Lorrie.  Living with relatives she decides to try and carry on with her life and starts College, where she meets Hunter, he is a Senior at same College, and a bit of a Bad Boy, with drop-dead gorgeous looks and a body to die for.  Well, technically she didn't so much meet him but was rescued by him  her after she fell into a freezing lake.

The pair soon realises they have feelings for each other and start on a romantic involvement.  Hunter knows about Lorrie's misfortunes and tries hard to reassure her often, but Lorrie cannot escape wagging tongues and tales about what Hunter gets up to.

Will this be happy ever after? Sorry, I cannot tell you as you need to read this great book to find out for yourself, but expect surprises.
