MY REVIEW of UNTRACEABLE by S.R. Johannes

I received an arc copy of this book from the publishers via NetGalley, and would like to thank them for allowing me to read this lovely story.

Grace's father has vanished in the wild, everyone thinks he has died, but Grace believes her father's expert survival skills will keep him safe, after all he is a Forest Ranger, well equipped to keep himself safe, so she cannot understand why others are so quick to decide he is dead.

The book was about her search to find him, her stubbornness to believe he was alive.  It delves into poaching, and the wild animals that are put at risk.  The plot is full of twists and turns, from the things she finds out about people, down to the grizzly bears she is fearful of.

The author has approached the subject of poaching in her writing, which will enlighten readers to the plight of these poor
animals.

Grace puts herself and others in danger during her attempts to find her father and ends up rescued by an English man, she gets embroiled then in a love triangle between the stranger and her ex-boyfriend, so we have hints of romance in this book, deceits, mystery, murder, all in all, an exceptionally well-rounded book which will surely appeal to the target of young adults.
